Her experience in Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal allows her to expand the range of services she can offer patients by being able to choose from either service, or combine electrolysis and laser procedures. Rachel Asfar has over ten years of experience as a licensed aesthetician, concentrating in skin care.
Laser Hair Removal
Rachel Asfar uses two different types of lasers for laser hair removal; the 1064 wave length laser and the BBL or Broad Band Light laser. The laser best used for each client depends on their skin type and outdoor activities. During your initial evaluation by Rachel, you will have your skin type evaluated and answer a questionnaire about your skin. Rachel will examine the areas you wish to have treated and advise you of the best course of action, probable treatment time, as well as the risks and benefits. Often, more than one type of laser is used to attain maximum results. Again, the number of sessions needed differs from patient to patient, and some touch up sessions are often needed from time-to-time many months after the majority of the unwanted hair has been eradicated.
If you are not sure whether laser or electrolysis, or a combination of both, are right for you, come in for a consultation with our excellent practitioner, Rachel Asfar.
